New book to start-Duct Tape Marketing by John Janysch
Well, I just can't get through the Myths right now so I am going to start a new non-fiction book. This one is about marketing. I really need to improve my marketing for Digital Eye Chart and Snake River Montessori. So I will start this one tonight.

Next Book- The Bell at Sealy Head by Patricia McKillip

This is another author that I always enjoy and this time all of her stoyies are distinctly different. I actually started this one before Christmas and left it at my parents house. So I had started another book in the meantime, Heir to Sevewaters. Now that is done so I am off to finish this one.
Here is a short summary from the Barnes and Noble bookstore web site.
An unseen bell haunts a seaside town and a magical mansion in this delicate fable from World Fantasy Award winner McKillip (Od Magic). Inside the baffling Aislinn House, young chambermaid Emma, opening an ordinary cabinet door, might find a rack of towels or encounter knights, crows and a lonely princess. As Lady Eglantyne, the ancient matron of the house, lies dying, her long-lost grand-niece is sent for. The townspeople are delighted by wealthy, city-bred Miranda Beryl, but suspicious of her eagerness to make herself at home and inherit the house-spellbound bell and all. Meanwhile, vacationing academic Ridley Dow's interest in Aislinn House hints at another motive for his visit to the village beside the ocean. Romantic intrigue and touches of this fantastic make this light mystery an easy and pleasant read. (Sept.)
First Finish of the Year- The Heir to Sevenwaters.
Boy did this book end well. It has been awhile since I have wanted to sit down and do nothing but finish a book and this one did that. While the over all story line is similiar to her other books, I just really loved these characters and wanted to know what happened next. I believe there will be more with these characters. I hope she doesn't skip generations like she did with her last series. I think there is more than enough story left with the current characters.
I would recommend this book! Every entertaining and that is all I ask for!

Updates
After a slow start, Heir to Sevenwaters is starting to get really good. Too bad I am on a strict diet for 10 more pounds or I would pop some popcorn with LOTS of butter (hence the no-no on the diet) and read it until it is done. I really like this author's stuff.
As for the Myths, it is a slow go. I forgot how hard the old style of writing can be to read. Especially at 11:00!
I am thinking about putting this one aside for one of the two books I just got from Barnes and Nobels. Montessori- The Science Behind the Genius and The Montessori Method- A Modern Approach. I am trying to read everything I can about her since I plan on becoming a Montessori teacher eventually. But I think I will continue to slog through the myths.

My Current Audiobook- A Clash of Kings by George RR Martin
These books have been pretty good if depressing. Nothing good ever happens to anyone in these books it seems like. This is the 3rd book in the series I think. It might be the fourth.

Heir To Sevenwaters- Juliet Marillier

This is my current entertainment book. I started it after I left my other current book, The Bell at Sealy Head at my mom's house. So far it is pretty good but I haven't gotten too far with it. It is a continuation of the Sevenwater Clan that is also seen in her first series of books. I'll post more when I finish.
Greek Myths- Started 1/1/09
This is my current "thought" book. I try to read one book that needs some thought and one book that is just for entertainment. I have read this book before in college but don't remember much of the stories so I thought I would read it again. I might get totally bored with it though and move on to something else. We'll see.
